This Coolum ensuite started as a leak in the ceiling – and became a full renovation for a good reason.
Behind those dated tiles, the waterproofing had failed. And waterproofing isn’t something you can patch over – to fix it properly, the room had to come back to the studs. So rather than a band-aid repair, it became the chance to do the whole thing right.
Out went the cream tiles, the builder’s vanity and the old framed shower. In came large-format tiles floor to wall, a floating timber vanity, a concealed-cistern toilet and a frameless walk-in shower – calm, warm, and built to last from the waterproofing up.
